AutoCAD is a Computer Aided Design or Drawing Software developed and marketed by Autodesk. AutoCAD is used by Engineers, Architects, Product Designers to create Technical Drawings. It offers several advantages over manual drawing. The reason you should learn to use AutoCAD is that, it has been adopted by millions of architects, designers, and engineers worldwide. AutoCAD provides us with a wide range of benefits; in most cases higher accuracy and productivity.
In AutoCAD, the tedious traditional drafting and detailing tasks are simplified through the use of many geometric construction tools, such as grids, snap, trim and auto-dimensioning.
AutoCAD software remains hugely popular. Learn it well, as it is still one of the best skills you can add to your resume.
I have been teaching AutoCAD for the past 10 years and have observed that, the most effective method for students to learn AutoCAD is practicing. But most AutoCAD books provide very little exercises for students to practice. That is the main reason I wrote this book.
The book contains over 300 self-practice exercises and I will keep on adding with each update.
My main goal of writing this resources is to help you learn AutoCAD and any other CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, SolidEdge, etc. I would be glad to help you achieve your goal. You may always contact me via [email protected].
Good Luck!
