AlertMe is a mobile app that helps you never miss a notification again. With AlertMe, you can set up alerts for specific apps with or without keywords, so you'll always be notified when something important comes in.
Do you want to be notified every time you get a new email from your boss? Or when a certain friend texts you? Just add an alert and you are good to go.
Are you on call for work and can't sleep due to all the unimportant e-mails? Just set alerts from your e-mail app with the keywords that are important enough to wake you up. You can also change the times to only alert you after hours when you are actually on call.
You can customize the alert for specific days or times. You can choose to play specific sounds and/or vibrate. You can match on any of your keywords or all of your keywords. You can also disable any alert that you like or even all alerts.
To stop alert until the next notification match comes in, click on the red icon in your notifications bar. (Example in screenshots) Alerts will sound alarm and/or vibrate until the alert is dismissed.
For best results, change battery to Unrestricted for AlertMe. This is due to an Android battery optimization mode called "Doze" that helps conserve battery power. AlertMe only processes when notifications are received and an active alert is triggered. If you do not set to Unrestricted, notifications will be processed during "Maintenance Windows" which could vary in time. This could cause a delayed alert when phone is on battery and not charging. (Example is in app screenshots)
Example Use Case Ideas:
• Find your phone - Add an alert looking for the text from your messaging app with keyword findmyphone.
• Child Emergency - Add an alert looking for the text from your messaging app with keyword "helpme" and your child's name as it is listed in your contacts.
• Missed phone call - Add an alert from the "Phone" app with keyword "missed call".
• Alert on all texts - Add an alert from your messaging app with no keywords.
