This App allows companies to test digital American Express contactless cards and Consumer Presented QR code with payment terminal software, to assist in the development of such software. This application can be used to test Point of Sale in the test environment only, it will not work for field testing or acceptance. Users of the application may include: Merchants, Processors, Acquirers, Point of Sale Vendors, Independent Service Operators, Value Added Resellers & Gateways. To get connected to a American Express test system you will need to contact your American Express representative.
With this Android application testers can test the following capabilities;
• Expresspay
• Expresspay Pre-Tap
• Expresspay Transit
• Expresspay Auto Fuel Dispenser (AFD)
• American Express Consumer Presented QR Code (CPQR)
The application also captures the contactless transaction exchange between the contactless card in the mobile device and the Point of Sale device. The data captured is in an industry standard card terminal log format (EMVCO L3TG) and may be used in conjunction with an American Express Test System or American Express Accredited Test System.
