The ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA™ Configuration app is a revolutionary, wireless way to set up ASSA ABLOY offline data-on-card access control hardware for ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA™ Multi-Family or Small Business cloud-based software solutions.
The app uses your phone’s NFC or BLE. You can commission and configure offline locks and online readers with location, time, date and other operation features. Additionally, property managers can retrieve lock audit, battery life information using HID’s ultra-secure SEOS encrypted protocol.

The ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA™ app is intended for use by Certified ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA™ Integrator Partners to commission and configure ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA™ nexTouch and other compatible devices into an ACCENTRA cloud-managed access control environment. Property managers can retrieve audits, update locks times, and manage blocked credentials. The app also has the ability to manage individual lock settings including escape return, privacy mode, one touch locking, inside LED, auto relock, volume, language, and changing master codes. Further, the app provides Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware enhancements for the electronic door hardware.
In order to use the application, a Certified Integrator must have access to an ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA™ site instance. The Configuration application integrates with existing ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA™ account identity information along with the network time, date and security keys using AES-128 encryption. The local door hardware must be placed in programming mode using the lock’s mastercode access. The mobile device uses Near Field Communication (NFC) and/or Blouetooth Low Energy (BLE) with HID SEOS encryption to securely talk with the ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA™ locks and wall readers. This synchronizes the door hardware with the ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA™system.

Recent changes:
* Added friendly error messaging when incorrectly setting up the secondary reader first in a two-reader controller configuration.
* Users may now select a different lock trim by photo and apply the firmware for that trim class instead of whatever their lock currently reports.
