Be nice is a tiny app launcher. Its sole purpose is to launch apps in split-screen mode. This is more than convenient if an app forces the device into portrait mode. While portrait mode is the preferred orientation on smartphones, tablets and foldables are often used in landscape mode. Instead of rotating your device just to be able to use an app, launch it using Be nice.
Even if an app does not lock the device into portrait mode, its user interface might not look great in landscape. Here, Be nice comes in handy, too. Just launch that app with Be nice, and enjoy a portrait orientation while in landscape mode.
To launch an app in split-screen mode from your home screen, tap and hold the app inside Be nice, and select Add link. This will create a shortcut to the app on your home screen.
Be nice is friendly:
- No in-app purchases
- No ads
- No need to unlock anything
- We respect your privacy
- Completely open source
Recent changes:
- Some app icons in a app pair shortcut may have appeared too big. This has been fixed.
- You can now specify how the small app icons in the app pair shortcut will be arranged: horizontal and diagonal
