Mr. Roy Harris is a one of the best contemporary martial artists, he is a sixth degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Roy started training for jiu jitsu in 1990 at the Gracie Academy in Torrance. He is believed to be one of the first Americans to receive his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Roy Harris trained under some of the great martial arts instructors of his time. His jiu jitsu blue belt was awarded to him by the great Royler Gracie. He then went on with his martial arts training under Joe Moreira to acquire his purple belt in 1994, brown belt in 1996, and eventually his first-degree black belt in 1998.
