The objective of BlackJack is to add 21 points or not to exceed this figure, but always exceeding the value that the bank has to win the bet.
Cards 2 to 10 are worth their natural value; cards J, Q and K are also worth 10 and the ace is worth 1 or 11 depending on the player's convenience.
*** Instructions for a BlackJack game ***
- At the beginning of each game the player places his bet.
- The bank deals two up cards to the player and two cards to himself, one visible and one up.
- The player performs his actions with the two cards already dealt. The actions are:
* Request Letter: the player can request the cards he wants if his game does not exceed 21 points. If the player goes beyond the 21 points mentioned, he loses his cards and passes the turn to the bench.
* Stand: a player can stand the moment he decides to do so.
* Split: if the player receives two starting cards with the same value, he can separate the cards into independent hands. When doing this the second hand must have the same bet as the first. Each hand is played independently.
- When the player finishes his actions, the bank plays his hand.
- Finally, the value of the sum of the cards in the player's and the bank's hand is compared and the bets are distributed:
* If the sum of the value of the player's cards is further from 21 than the dealer or has exceeded the value of 21, the bet is lost.
* If the value of the player's cards is the same as that of the bank, he recovers his bet, he does not lose or win.
* If the player beats the bank, they are paid the same value bet.
* If the player has BlackJack (ace plus 10 or figure) he is paid 3 × 2.
