Clash of Friends is a collection of popular house party games with friends, family, and partners.
Truth or Dare questions
Forgive us for sounding like Monica from Friends, but sometimes all we need is a bit of organised fun. Whether that's a round of 'never have I ever' for your next prinks, a drinking game for the after party or even dinner party games for a (civilised?) evening. Or how about a good old fashioned game of truth or dare?
A standard TOD session typically involves you and your mates sitting in a circle, and in a clockwise motion, asking each player if they’d prefer to answer a truth question or do a dare. Once they’ve chosen, if they refuse to answer the question or do the dare, the player usually has to complete a forfeit. And surprise, surprise, it’s usually a shot of something *very* strong.
*Disclaimer - if you’ve never played the infamous game before, it’s pretty straightforward - albeit it can get a little spicy if there’s booze involved - which there usually is.
So, whether you’re having a girly night in at the weekend and you want to ruffle some feathers, or you’re on a hen do and want your bridal party to get to know each other better, there’s nothing better - or more savage - than a classic game of truth or dare.
And because it holds such a special place in our teenage house party hearts, we’ve compiled a list of our fave questions and dares (over 160 of them) that are sure to keep the party going alllllll night.
Truth or Dare is one of the all-time classic party games—and a great way to get to know your friends better in 2022. The premise is simple: Players take turns asking one another "truth or dare?" If they choose truth, they have to answer a question of the asker's choosing. If they choose dare, the asker dares them to do something rather than make a confession.
Good truth or dare questions are thought-provoking, and some can elicit just as much of an adrenaline rush as doing a dare. The key to a good truth or dare question? Make it something that will catch the player somewhat off-guard and ask something the rest of the players would be generally interested in learning. You can have funny truth or dare questions, philosophical truth or dare questions or stick with the scandalous stuff you can all gossip about later. The key is to have fun with it!
If you don't know your fellow players well enough to ask something super-specific about them or their lives, we've compiled a hefty list of the 250 best truth or dare questions and dares that will get everyone talking (and sometimes blushing, laughing or cringing) at your next party, even if it's a virtual one. We dare you not to ask these.
If you’re looking for a fun group activity or just a way to pass the time, a classic game of Truth or Dare is the perfect way to get to know your best friends even better. Whether it’s deep, soul-searching Qs or daredevil antics that you prefer, your style of playing can reveal a lot about you. (Anyone else on Team Truth out there? Same.)
We rounded up the very best Truth or Dare questions and ideas that will keep things interesting (you can also check out other game ideas — or even try a Truth or Dare generator if you're feeling really bold). Whether you're at a slumber party with your besties or taking to the highway for a road trip, this iconic game is a go-to for endless entertainment — and the best part? No consoles or playing cards required.
And just in case you need a refresher on the rules, we’ve got you covered there too: Simply go around in a circle asking players if they’d prefer truth questions or dare questions — you’ll find plenty of both below — and don’t forget to set the appropriate “punishment” for players who opt to pass on their turn. Of course, it’s best not to make things too pressured; being able to skip a round in exchange for group snack duty is a win-win that keeps things light and fun for everyone!
