Defenx SOS

Defenx SOS is an application that uses the sensors in your device to send notifications to custom recipients. The application detects changes using the accelerometer to launch a custom alarm sound together with the notifications. The notifications system sends a series of messages to specific contacts of your choice, where the notification can be a phone call, SMS or email.

The SMS and email include information such as date, time, GPS coordinates and a link to Google maps showing the position where the alarm was triggered. Every event is then registered and can be accessed anytime through the history page.

The application also supports Bluetooth devices, which can be used as a panic button to trigger the alarm and send the notifications.

FEATURES

Fall Detection : The sensor detects the device’s fall through the accelerometer, tracking your position and time at the moment of the fall to send notifications.

Notification System : The types of notifications that can be set and used are phone call, SMS and email, which will notify the recipients selected in the application.

History : History logs are kept for every triggered alarm, which can be viewed in the history page. This will contain the details of date, time and GPS coordinates.

Bluetooth Panic Button : The alarm can also be triggered by external Bluetooth buttons
