Nimoh® Digiscope Ballistics turns your standard analog riflescope into a smart digital scope using your smartphone mounted (mount not included) to the scope.
No other app on the planet does this!
Map your riflescope reticle to the app’s internal Virtual Reticle™ and get a precise aiming indicator to guide you for that perfect unmissable shot, calculated to precision using the app’s Point Mass External Ballistics calculator.
You can utilise magnification provided within the app, as opposed to scope magnification, to maintain accuracy and overcome any scope magnification limits, video-record your shots (including audio), and take still photographs.
Many variables for the ballistics calculation such as orientation - line of sight – up/down, compass coordinates shooting direction, and latitude (for Coriolis and Eotvos effects) can be automatically obtained from internal device sensors.
Wind Speed and Direction can be obtained automatically from a Bluetooth Weather meter (currently Kestrel 5500 series supported). When Wind Speed/Direction is being obtained from a weather meter, the wind direction from the weather meter is cross-coordinated with the shooting direction from the device sensor to give the precise wind direction relative to the shooter – critical for accurate ballistics windage calculation. (Most of the current digital smart scopes on the market cannot do this!).
