Eat Like An Elephant® partner restaurants propose special vegan dishes and let you tip an elephant by simply scanning a QR code. The micro donation you can decide to make at the restaurant will support the conservation work undertaken in Laos by the Elephant Conservation Center.
Elephants are a keystone species in Asian tropical forests. They are endangered and face extinction. The Elephant Conservation Center (ECC) (https://www.elephantconservationcenter.com/) works in Laos, South-East Asia, since 2010 to rescue, rehabilitate, reherd and release elephants into the wild.
Find out more about the ECC on their website and contribute to the conservation of Asian elephants by enjoying a healthy vegan dish at one of the Eat Like an Elephant® partner restaurants around you.
Simply download the App, find an Eat Like an Elephant® partner restaurant, order the Eat Like an Elephant® dish(es) on offer, enjoy your meal, treat your body, and save elephants by tipping an elephant a banana!
All donations made via the Eat Like An Elephant® mobile App are sent to the Elephant Conservation Center (ECC) in the Lao PDR via secure bank transfer on their official bank account. The funds are strictly used towards one of the ongoing conservation programmes undertaken by the ECC and are tagged with an Eat Like An Elephant® notification in the ECC’s accounting system for transparency and traceability.
Funds collected via the Eat Like An Elephant® Mobile App will be used for one or several programmes at the Elephant Conservation Center in the Lao PDR. These include:
– Elephant Rescues;
