We started farmr.Shop with a vision of how food SHOULD be: fresh, and local (when mother nature permits). Having grown up in a family of farmers and living on a farm, we spent summers working at farms in Nashik region, learning how to live off the land, and the benefits of local and good food!
Whether you like to cook, wish you had time to cook or hate to cook, we’ve got a box type that will help you eat and be well! It’s like having a farmer as your personal produce shopper — and you still get the final say of what goes into each delivery.
We believe everyone deserves access to affordable, fresh, and healthy food.
OUR MISSION:
Bring delicious, fresh, and affordable rescued produce to people everywhere and reduce food waste at a scale that creates positive and lasting impact.
We are putting fresh produce that might not check all the boxes for perfection into boxes, and sending it straight to you. Sooner than you’d be able to buy it at a store. Every box of FARMR you order benefits farmers, helps prevent food waste, and ultimately helps save our environment.
Our hope is that the price Indians pay for food will someday reflect the real cost of producing it: the stewardship required to make sure that the land will remain fertile and productive, the health and benefits necessary to maintain an active labor force, a strong rural community, and a profit margin that will provide the incentive for people like us to spend every waking moment producing food and fiber for the rest.
We want to do better than vague claims of social responsibility and greenwash so we try to make informed decisions about the important issues affecting us and our environment.
As stewards of the land, we continue our parents’ mission to connect local farms and communities together in a method that is environmentally and economically sustainable. Every day, we are humbled to carry on this tradition and watch the support grow, thanks to you!

With the ability to Customize Your Box, each delivery comes with the option to view and make changes to the items in your delivery. We offer up the best seasonal items so you can tinker with your box contents. Go ahead and make your box as you want.
All our CYO (Create Your Own) Boxes are named after rivers in India.
We respect rivers as ‘Lokmata’ because human life is not possible without rivers. They provide people with drinking water and water for growing crops. It is because of these reasons that a river is worshiped as a ‘mother’ in India.
