Amê is a Japanese card game (Hanafuda). Hanafuda is a deck of Japanese origin. Although there may be several ways of playing, Amê presents a form well known to the Japanese immigrants who came to Brazil. Hanafuda is available on Google's Play store. We have prepared a video explaining the game (https://youtu.be/HTsBeHOFxyk). The game is very interesting, from the stylized cards to even the Gameplay. The game manual is available for download on my page (http://eic.cefet-rj.br/~eogasawara/ame).
This is our contribution to the 110 years of Japanese immigration. The application was developed together with the students Ana Beatriz Cruz, Sabrina Serique, and Leonardo Preuss. Newer versions had the contribution of Gabriel Neves Maia and Giovanni Alves. All of them were students of CEFET/RJ. In addition to fun, the game is also a platform for developing artificial intelligence algorithms (stochastic adversary algorithms). In 2015 we wrote a scientific article about the game: http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=2695734. In this new version, we bring new artificial intelligence algorithms. The game has features for ranking and storing the games made by the users and artificial intelligence algorithms. The goal is to identify frequent patterns and develop new algorithms. We hope you enjoy this new version.
