The “HIV test” application was developed by the largest patient organization in Ukraine, “100% Life”. It is designed to improve the effectiveness of HIV testing. During practical work, it was noticed that some behavioral factors increase the likelihood of detection. A questionnaire was compiled, based on which a person can get an answer as to how risky his behavior is in terms of HIV infection. Thanks to this questionnaire, the effectiveness of detection programs increased from 4% to 19%.
How does it work? You answer 3 groups of questions on the topic of sex, blood, symptoms. Based on your answers, the algorithm will give an answer in %, what is the probability that you could theoretically be infected with HIV. This application does not diagnose. The accuracy of the result depends on the honesty of your answers, but is not final. To get an accurate result, you need to undergo physical testing at a special point or by self-testing with a certified test for this.
The application has a map that displays testing points. If you have geolocation enabled, you will see the nearest point.
The application does not collect personal data. All statistics that are collected (country, gender, answer to the question) are depersonalized and in no way can reveal the persons who use the application.
