This app can be used to measure speed of a vehicle in km/h or mph. To change to mph just tap on km/h and to change back to km/h just tap on mph.
The app can be used as a head up display (HUD) placed near the windscreen, which will project the speed information on the windscreen so the driver does not have to take off his eyes from the road. It can be used a really cheap non slipping mat (https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/anti-slip-dashboard-mat/bn_7024810385), this way the phone won't slip from the dashboard of the car.
The app can be used in normal view mode too, just by tapping on the speed number. This way the phone can be placed in a phone holder for cars.
You can use a cheap old mobile phone an turn it to a head up display (HUD).
The app has the advantage that it is really simple and shows only the main information that the driver needs to know (the speed) in digital and analog way, no other signs which can be disturbing. Hopefully this app will help a diver to keep in mind to drive below the speed limit and hopefully will reduce the number of received speeding tickets.
The app when used in head up display mode ca be seen better on the windshield when it's dark outside.
It is a good habit to use a phone charger for cars, because the screen keeps the screen of the phone always on and can drain the battery of the phone quite quickly.
The app does not collect any user data.
Use the app on you own risk. We do not take any responsibility if the app functions incorrectly, or a driver gets speeding tickets, or will have other problems in traffic, during driving.
