Why
Devices nowadays have built in batteries that aren't easily replaced. Normally one has to bring the device to service facility for them to disassemble the device, replace the battery and rebuild the device. This takes devices away from users and it cost some money. The alternative is to take care of your battery so it can last as long as possible.
How
Modern batteries have greater degradation if they are charged to 100% or discharged to 0%. Ideally if the battery is kept between about 20% and 80% it has a lot slower degradation. At the same time charging is faster in this middle battery level range to keep battery degradation to a minimum.
This app
Unfortunately devices don't allow developers to control it's charging limits. The next best thing is an alarm that notifies the user when to connect or disconnect a charger. This app is a simple alarm that triggers when battery level drops bellow or charges above set levels. The goal is to have as lightweight app as possible so that it doesn't use unnecessary resources.
There is no gathering of data and therefore no predictions on how long the battery might last. It's just a simple battery alarm that makes some noise and vibrates when battery level triggers it. There are a good system battery app and other apps on this platform if you want graphs, predictions and other nice things.
Usage
* Open the app for the first time, this will
- prompt you to allow some permissions for this app to tun in the background and set off an alarm
- start the main notification - it must be visible for this app to work
* Adjust settings
- upper and lower limits, alarm ringtone, alarm duration
- screen brightness change for this app is dimmed if low level is triggered and the brightness is set to maximum if high level is triggered
- sound mode means alarm just vibrates when device is set to vibrate or silent
* Stop the alarm by
- pressing the button in the main screen or in the alarm notification
- plugging or unplugging a charger
Troubleshooting
If the app is being killed by the system you can try telling the system NOT to battery optimise this app. Normally this is done with:
settings -> Apps -> Just Battery Alarm -> Battery -> Battery optimisation and set Don't optimise for this app.

Known issues
⭐ On some Huawei phones the background service with notification is killed regardless of battery optimisation setting for this app. Try turning on AutoStart permission
