ATTENTION: Please ***DO NOT*** use this app as a single user – it will not work without remote configuration!
Managed DAVx⁵ has the same awesome sychronization capabilities as the original DAVx⁵ but comes with great additional features for businesses and organizations. Primarily this version is aimed to be rolled out for employees of an organization that wants to have CalDAV & CardDAV available on Android devices. Managed DAVx⁵ must be pre-configured by an admin. It can be done within minutes - and no programming is required!
Remote configuration can be distributed using:
* EMM/MDM, Android Enterprise
* Network service discovery (DNS-SD)
* Network DNS (unicast)
* QR code
Configuration options:
* Use your own Base URL
* Use your own company logo
* Password-free setup via client certificates possible
* Lots of pre-configurable settings such as contact group method, proxy settings, WiFi settings etc.
* Additional fields to set for "Admin contact", "Support phone" and a website link.
***Requirements*** for using Managed DAVx⁵
- A deployment method to distribute Managed DAVx5 (like an MDM/EMM solution)
- A possibility to distribute the configuration (MDM/EMM, Network, QR code)
- A valid subscription (please view your options on www.davx5.com and get your free demo)
Managed DAVx⁵ does not collect any of your personal data, nor does it have any calling-home features or ads. Please read how we access Contacts, Calendars and Tasks in our Privacy Policy: https://www.davx5.com/privacy
