This app detects metal objects using magnetic field sensors on smartphones. You can detect invisible metal objects, such as a pipe in a wall or a key in a sofa with this app.
After operating(starting) this app, place your smartphone close to the wall and move it along the wall. Visual and auditory signals will be generated from the smartphone in response to various pipes, rebars, and other metal objects in the wall.
The app applies an algorithm that increases the sensitivity of your smartphone's magnetic field sensor to provide better metal detection.
This app provides a visual detection function using the phone's camera, allowing users to conveniently detect metal while watching video from the camera.
This is an app that allows you to detect metal nearby by measuring the magnetic field value. It’s a great app for entertainment purposes and can help you identify any metal object in your area.
Here’s an example of how you can use this metal detector app at home. You can use it to find lost metal objects such as keys, jewelry, etc. that may have fallen under furniture or in other hard-to-reach places. You can also use it to detect metal in walls before drilling.
For your taste and convenience, this app offers three types of metal detectors. You can choose one of three metal detectors from the main menu.
Metal objects around the smartphone change the magnetic field. This app uses this principle to detect metal objects. It is especially sensitive to iron-rich substances(objects).
The magnetic field sensor of a smartphone reacts to iron and does not react to substances(objects) containing copper or nickel. Therefore, it is difficult to detect coins, gold, and silver with this app because it uses the device magnetic sensor to measure the strength of magnetic field.
The response of magnetic field sensors to objects containing copper, nickel, silver or gold is weaker than that of iron. This is the same principle as why iron sticks well to a magnet. It’s a great app for entertainment purposes and it's a reference only.
