The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation presents the Mi Carpeta Ciudadana app, which facilitates citizens’ interactions with Pubic Administrations in a simple, flexible way on a single platform.
Mi Carpeta Ciudadana features, in aggregate, your personal information and the procedures you have carried out with the various Public Administrations.
The main characteristics and functions of the Mi Carpeta Ciudadana app include:
Home. Displays alerts and the number of electronic notifications pending, and connects to the General Point for Notifications (DEHú) for consultation. It also provides i) a summary of your personal status, which you can customise with your favourite data, a summary of notifications, and scheduled appointments, and ii) direct access to the services and documents you have consulted most recently.
Calendar. Allows you to view notifications of pending administrative procedures (ID expirations, electronic certificates, passports, driving licenses, MoTs) and previous appointments with various administrations, such as the issuance of documentation by the General-Directorate of Police (National Identification Document, Passport, Foreigner Identification Document), immigration appointments, a large number of registration assistance offices for the various ministries, government delegations and sub-delegations, civil registries, and other organisations to be added gradually.
Mi Carpeta provides access to:
- My data. Consult personal details from different state, regional, and local administrations, such as birth certificates, social benefits (paternity, maternity, retirement, minimum living allowance, etc.), your properties and how to get to them, driving license points, vehicles, MoTs, academic qualifications, criminal records, large family and disability status, current and previous residence registrations, degree of dependency, employment history, etc. In addition to consultations, when approved by the competent body, this data can be downloaded in PDF or QR format to a device wallet. This section is constantly growing.
- My documents. In this section you can directly access all supporting documentation previously generated in the My Data section. These documents can be shared via a link and can be deleted at any time.
- My files. Check your open files with the various Public Administrations. (Currently connected to most General State Administration agencies, as well as 11 Autonomous Communities and several local entities.)
-Services. Submit your registration to the General Electronic Registry, check your powers of attorney, and find more public apps that may be of interest to you in the app search engine.
-Application settings. Adjust your preferences, including email and mobile phone, for which you can customise the alert frequency (15 days or 1 month prior, etc.) for each calendar. You can access the Carpeta Ciudadana securely with your Cl@ve platform details, [https://clave.gob.es](https://clave.gob.es/) used for the digital services provided by most Spanish public administrations.
