This app is used mostly by teens that are reimbursed by their parents for their expenses.
As an example, take a teenager that participates in an after-school program where she learns advanced math (seriously!). On the days of that program, she gets to the math class by taking a bus from her high-school.
On other days she might buy herself some food or some nice new clothes at the mall.
Her mom agreed to pay for these expenses, but she wants to know how this money is spent. Our teenager has an arrangement with her mom where at the end of every week, she tells her mom how much money she spent and on what things, and her mom pays her back.
With the MyExpenses app, our teen can:
- Document every expense she makes
- Generate a report of expenses
- Send or share this report with her mom
- Keep track of old expenses or delete them
Documenting an expense is extremely easy and fast. It takes only a few clicks. Every expense can be attributed to a predefined category (public-transportation, food, etc), and may be accompanied by a note that explains what it was.
Expense categories such as public-transportation, food, cloths etc, can be freely added.
Reports can be generated from specific hand-picked expenses, or can be weekly (for current or previous week). After a report is generated it can be sent or shared with any sharing option available on the phone such as email or WhatsApp.
This app is truly free. There are no ads and no in-app billing of any sort.
This app does not require any special permission, so there are no potential privacy issues.
If you have any improvement suggestions/requests, please drop me an email.
