Najda is an Arabic word that means "Aid or Help."
The idea of the Najda app came basically from the Syrian conflict where many people have been killed while others have had to leave the country searching for a better life. This resulted in many elderly or sick people living alone with no one around to help them in emergencies. The idea developed to benefit all the people of the Arab world.
Thus, this app is a simple tool that can help people have quick access to all the necessary emergency numbers in the Arab countries, and first aid procedures and contact the nearest person who can come to their aid, besides searching for the nearest hospital in one click.
With Najda App:
- You will find all the emergency numbers of all the Arab countries so you do not have to worry about forgetting any number because they'll all be on one tab, with the option to edit or load different ones if you're in a different Arab country.
- You can add a custom contact to the emergency numbers (e.g., Taxi, Doctor, Neighbor) so you can have quick access to it without the need to search your contact list.
- You can create a medical profile that you can show to any medical professional or rescuer so they can know everything about you if you are in shock or unable to speak.
- Read and learn about the most common emergency cases and accidents and what to do if they happen (New articles will be added periodically).
- Search for the nearest hospital or medical center.
- Set an SOS contact number and a custom SMS message to send immediately if you were in trouble.
- Send your current location via SMS to the number you defined.
- The app has full support for Arabic and English, so it can help the locals and any foreigner visiting the country or working with an international agency in any case of emergency.
