WHAT IS OHM'S LAW?
Probably the most important mathematical relationship between voltage, current and resistance in electricity is called "Ohm's Law". This formula is used to calculate electrical values so that we can design circuits and use electricity in a useful manner.
Ohm's Law states that the voltage across a resistor is directly proportional to the current flowing through the resistance (V = R * I). Ohm's Law is named after German physicist Georg Ohm (1789-1854).
WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT THIS APP?
Ohm's Law Calculator works in real-time. Results are calculated as you type-in your values. The App also calculates power-values(W) for any given combination of voltage(V), current(I) and resistance(R). Just tap on the result bar to show or hide the calculated power values.
Ohm's Law Calculator has been designed for students, technicians and engineers in the electric and electronics field.
