Oscilloscope is a real-time audio spectrum analyzer, a waveform sound visualizer and a microphone level meter with reasonable frequency resolution across the entire available frequency spectrum.
š¬ FAQ š¬
Q: What is this application for?
A: The Oscilloscope helps you quickly evaluate audio signal features when you don't have more accurate devices, so you can understand the car engine RPM, your musical instrument peak frequency, voice characteristic, sound signal level, waveform, FFT waterfall history, etc. without any additional math and physics knowledge.
Q: Why are there are no dB values on the grid?
A: Instead of using dBFS (Full Scale) where 0 dB is the maximum power that the microphone can measure, the Oscilloscope uses only graphic representation for a signal that helps quickly evaluate the frequency and its history without tons of inaccurate data that smartphone can produce.
Q: Can I zoom in on the spectrum plot?
A: For now no, but it's quite simple for implementation, so feel free to request any feature for adding.
Recent changes:
ā¢ā Scope, Meter, & FFT displays
ā¢ā FFT peak tracking with readout
ā¢ā High contrast colors for view-ability
ā¢ā Bugfix
