Pensioners’ (106.7) FM is an independent urban radio station set up by the Nigerian Union of Pensioners (NUP) Oyo State Council to give voice to the Pensioners and as well serve the general interest of the public as regards information dissemination, education and entertainment.
The ultra-modern radio broadcasting hub is located inside Pensioners’ House (Africa’s Model Building), Agbarigo, Onireke, Ibadan, Oyo state.
It is the first radio station ever to be owned by a Labor Union in the continent of Africa and otherwise known as ‘voice of liberation’.
We enjoy a wide coverage of audience and listeners across the South-West of Nigeria, as well as reaching some far distances like Abuja, Kwara and Bauchi as we have received calls from these far places as well as from diaspora.
Recent changes:
Pensioners FM uses Appcues to announce its latest features, live programmes and announcements that will prompt users to a programme when its been aired.
The slideout grabs attention and notifies users about updates without taking them out of the app itself.
The audio stream can be minimized and users will still listen to live programmes without staying in the app
