Are you ready for this? Pick Teams is a must have app for those who play football regularly and need a quick and easy way to pick teams and then share the sides with the players via whatsApp. You then know beforehand who's on which side and what top to wear and save time on the playing field.
You first enter the player's names which can be done quickly, put a rank by each player out of 100 (defaults to 70 if you don't), decide if they're strikers or not and then let the app do the rest. Its important that the ranking is fairly accurate and something you can fine tune the more you play with each other.
Clicking Go, will then display suggested teams and you can retry until you feel satisfied with the teams. In Pick Teams, two shares are available; one with the ranking which you might want to share with another team captain (I generally send a few choices) and one without the ranking that you can share with the rest of the team. The messages is sent as text rather than an image to minimise space usage on the device.
Pick Teams is quick and easy to use and setup, even if you have to start from scratch it takes less than 1 minute to get the players names in and then pick teams. From experience it has made our games tight and very competitive.
Recent changes:
Sometimes creates uneven sides (one example was when i had 3 runners and 4 defenders)
