With our app Peppy Pillbug asks you to scan your pillbox barcode in order to mark your pill as taken. This makes you stop, go to the pillbox (which you need to do anyway), and be more mindful of your actions. Don’t worry, you don’t have to rely on your mindfulness though, Pillbug will ask you if you took your medication, log your medication as taken in your calendar and remember the barcode for next time. That way if you ever try to take that sleeping pill instead of your ADHD medication, it’ll alert you right away that you are about to take the wrong medication. Phew!
Pillbug also makes your appointments easier. Just show your Pillbug calendar to your doctor and they can see how often you took your pills since your last appointment and make better decisions about your care.
