WHO WE ARE
We’re not just a tiny, super-awesome startup – we’re on a mission to combat loneliness and build genuine, in-person friendships. Our app lets you find your friends via location sharing, so you can spend less time planning (or scrolling) and more time hanging.
And just to be clear: we’re definitely not another social media app. We're a location-based social utility app (what a mouthful, how about just a social map)
WHAT WE’RE AGAINST
Big social media platforms – they’re all about those passive, surface-level interactions disguised as "connection" (kinda cringe if u ask me). Plus negative vibes of bullying, exclusion, and those perfect-but-not-really-perfect lives, and it’s a *literal* wonder why we’re glued to our screens, missing out on actual fun IRL. We’re not about that life – we’re here to push for real, intentional meetups instead.
HOW WE DO IT
• Location Sharing – sure, we need your location, but it’s your privacy, so it’s your call. Only your besties (or whoever you choose) will have access, and you get to decide between two options: exact or close-ish (within a 0.5-mile radius). We love a choice, don’t we?
• Statuses – remember the OG statuses, you know the ones? ;) We’re bringing them back, but better. Share your mood or next move to let your friends know what’s happening. Once your status expires, it’s gone forever – *except we save them just for you to laugh/cringe/smile at.
• Pinging – another throwback for ya that we’re repurposing because, why not? RIP Blackberry pings, and say hello to our quick, fun pings you can send to easily meet up with friends.
