WHAT WE’RE ABOUT
Whether you're looking to see who's free, what's going on, or simply want to share your vibe, Ping makes it easy. We put statuses on the map and in the campus feed, giving you a live snapshot of what's happening around you. No more endless scrolling or planning – just real updates, in real-time.
And just to be clear: we’re definitely not another social media app. We're a location-based social utility app (what a mouthful, how about just a social map).
HOW WE DO IT
• Map Statuses – our map shows you statuses from both friends and non-friends nearby. Whether it's group yoga on the quad, a heated debate over pizza, or just someone vibing with their plant collection, it's all mapped out and always changing.
• Location Sharing – sure, we need your location, but it’s your privacy, so it’s your call. Only your besties (or whoever you choose) will have access, and you get to decide between two options: exact or close-ish (within a 0.5-mile radius). We love a choice, don’t we?
• Campus Feed – not just your friends, see what’s happening with other students on your campus. With statuses updating live, you'll never miss out on what’s trending or who’s up for something.
• Pinging – a throwback that repurposing because, why not? RIP Blackberry pings, and say hello to our quick, fun pings you can send to easily meet up with friends.
