Productive provides a content stream that makes productive use of our precious time, as ‘time is the currency of life’. It automatically learns and adapts to people’s interests over time.
This content consists of gems from human culture including books and arts of past centuries and high quality archives such as that of New York Times from years back and articles with enduring value such as that from 'Our World in Data'. The distinguishing theme of our app is it actively strives to be productive for people instead of wasting their time. It is intended to be a productive and meaningful alternative to harmful applications such as facebook that drive people down the “rabbit hole” for engagement or a pure waste of time such as netflix; Again we believe that, ‘time is the currency of life’.
It provides an alternative window to the world wide web from Google search or Yahoo directories of the past; This window is expected to be a higher quality and more productive window but is not expected to be as comprehensive in scale. It follows the philosophy of “Less (choice) is more” as it mitigates the cognitive overload of decisions on us.
