I was incredibly frustrated with how many times I'd be running to my PC to up the texture resolution of my Quest that I went on the hunt trying the very few amount of available apps on the Play Store for sending commands to the Meta (Oculus) Quest, I became annoyed that some of them simply did not work and one of them you had to pay for (and it's not even made for the Quest). So after much hard work and determination, I created my own app to fulfill my needs all while looking clean, and modern. Now I'm sharing my creation with all of you.
Features:
• NEW! Presets! Create and edit presets with multiple commands to send to your Quest all at once.
• No intrusive, obnoxious full-screen ads. There's WAY too many of those nowadays so I refuse to add to the problem.
• Fine-grain control over your Quest headset with all the common commands and then some.
• Change your headset's texture resolution with presets, or set your own!
• Adjust your headset's refresh rate, foveation level, dynamic foveation, chroma, proximity sensor, and more values!
• Set the Quest's CPU and GPU levels that are normally controlled dynamically.
• Control the parameters of your headset's screen recording function like the capture dimensions, recording bitrate, and enabling full-rate capture.
• Run any command you would normally run on your computer in the "Miscellaneous" page. There you can set/get any values you like with a terminal-type layout.
COA:
While these commands *should* be safe (as they are freely offered by Meta themselves), by installing this app and sending the commands to the connected headset, you are acknowledging the risks and possible damage to said device.
Recent changes:
You may have been experiencing random crashing when attempting to send commands. This update has addresssed that issue and hopefully lowered the amount of random crashing. Also included in this update are some minor bug fixes and logic improvements.
