RePath is designed to assist communities in managing groups of individuals throughout the criminal justice system by providing flexible technology that can be customized to meet the needs of each individual. The RePath mobile application collects and transmits a variety of user data to a web platform and the RePath Officer mobile application, allowing for an inexpensive communication, supervision and resource provisioning tool in lieu of bond, for probation, and for parole. The software provides:
1. An inexpensive alternative to incarceration or existing expensive and stigmatizing ankle bracelets.
2. Use of facial recognition and fingerprint technology to assist with identification.
3. Variable location bread crumbing depending upon the risk level of the participant, court order, or discretion of the monitor.
4. Geofencing the participant to comply with court order to either avoid a certain location or remain in a certain location (work, home) at various times.
5. Dynamic risk assessment and adaptation based on compliance and other available data, allowing the monitor to focus their limited time on the highest risk participants.
6. Two-way communication system which increases efficiency of all interactions between the participant and the monitor.
Automated court-date notification and appointment reminder system that reduces failure to appear rates.
