The programme. Respect Your Talent is home of the handball future. The talent support programme of the European Handball Federation (EHF) promotes the holistic development of young players’ careers; on and alongside the court. In the programme’s pioneering approach, the world’s best handball players supported by leading field experts inspire and instruct the next generation of athletes.
The app. As part of the programme, the Respect Your Talent app represents a digital space for self-development. Our interactive platform helps aspiring handball players improve their knowledge and build skills alongside the game of handball. The manifold resources of the App assist to better cope with the current challenges of competitive youth handball, as well as to proactively prepare for the future demands of professional handball. A steadily growing collection of micro trainings covers areas such as Media, Mental Fitness, Dual Career, Sports Law, or Anti-Doping. Tailored to the needs of young athletes, our compact training sessions were co-created by current and former stars of the game, together with international disciplinary experts.
The Ambassador Sessions. Investment in personal development is rewarded. Via completing our gamified training sessions, players can win tokens (called “Talents”). After collecting a certain amount, they can use these tokens to gain access to our exclusive “Ambassador Sessions”. In these sessions, young players can meet their idols live-online in private settings, ask their personal questions, and benefit from the unique experience of the world’s best players.
