RP3 Racing is an application designed for the RP3 Dynamic Ergometer. It provides an advanced racing tool that makes it possible to race against anyone, anywhere at anytime in the world in real time.
You just need a connection to the internet to setup or join a race in a virtual room. After that you can share your unique room code with people you want to challenge to ensure only the right people will join your race.
Participants can be divided into boats and adjusted for boat type and weight to get closest to on-water performance: the resulting data is accurate to within 0.5%. During the race every stroke of every rower is recorded and saved for later review.
To setup a new race go to: https://screen.rp3rowing-app.com/ where you can create a new race, after which you can enter the provided room key into this app. Each of the connected devices will show up in the online environment where you can combine boats by dragging and dropping them in the correct configuration. Once you're satisfied with the configuration you can start the race and the application will verify your connection to an RP3 machine and internet connectivity. From here rowers will see ATTENTION and start rowing at GO!
