[ 6/30/2022 - apologies for the crash uploaded 6/28. My first attempt to support Android 12 failed on all devices! It has now been fixed and replaced. It will update automatically if you have not uninstalled the app. I had to completely rewrite the UI and some anomalies remain. If you discover other issues, please report them to me so I can fix them. Giving me a bad review for something I am working to fix only makes me sad. Over the next couple weeks I will be working to fix the following:
1. When the app is loading data from the ISY, it no longer says "LOADING...". This is surprisingly cumbersome to fix and has to do with multi-threading. I need to learn that before I fix it.
2. Gestures in Android 11 and 12 can cause the app to crash. This is generally when you are swiping to exit, so not a huge deal, but I need to teach the app to ignore gestures. Another thing I need to learn before I fix. Basically the app is trying to interpret wherever you lifted your finger while it is exiting, which is why it's crashing then.]
REQUIRED controller: Universal Devices ISY994i.
It does not work with any other controller.
Should work on Android 6 (Marshmallow) through Android 12.
Recommended screen size: 4" or larger. Works on tablets too.

I am adding enhancements periodically, especially to support more Insteon and Z-Wave devices. If you have a device that is not yet supported or not working as expected, please contact me.

Welcome to Simple Home Controller, the simple mobile and tablet interface to your Insteon and Z-Wave devices with an ISY994i controller. Simple Home Controller allows you to turn on/off and dim/brighten your devices and scenes. It also allows you to run programs and change thermostat settings. It is not intended as a replacement for more advanced programs. Simple Home Controller is not configurable beyond the connection settings and font size - it relies on the configuration of your hardware. Folders, devices, and scenes will appear exactly as listed in your hardware configuration, except that the folder structure will be "flattened" to reduce the number of clicks to get to your devices. This means if you have nested folders on your controller, only the folders containing modules/scenes will be listed. The otherwise empty parent folders will not appear. By default I have left out the ISY group (which contains every module) and the Auto DR group (which is reserved by Universal Devices for meter interfacing). Simple Home Controller does not write to your controller hardware. It cannot mess-up your programming.
