Device/product aims to provide automatic water management control with live camera view, pH level updates and water usage notification. A normal human body contains 70% of water that is very precious for the living beings and scarcity of the same is gradually increasing also industrial an agricultural wastewater mismanagement lead to dangerously contamination or chemically polluted drinking-water of hundreds of houses. Natural presence
of chemicals, particularly in groundwater, can also be of health significance, including
arsenic and fluoride, while other chemicals, such as lead, may be elevated in drinking-water as a result of leaching from water supply components in contact with drinking-water and stored water accumulates dirt that can easily dissolve in the water also standing water is known as the best medium for the growth and expansion of germs if the water tank is uncleaned for ages, then you will certainly get a filthy smell inside the tank as it is draining
water. It is because of the residues and sediments that develop at the bottom of the tank also sometimes dead insects or animals are also found inside the tank which people do not have time to see unless filthy smell starts coming We don’t use tank water only for drinking purposes, but also things like bathing, washing clothes, and utensils also we do use the same water. Thus, while you stay in touch with this contaminated water, then you will surely get skin diseases. This is one of the motivations for the current work and to deploy techniques in order to give live camera view of overhead tank in our application along with save water and help the environment which in turn ensures water for the future. Hence, it is of utmost importance to preserve and save water along with hygiene. In many houses there exists unnecessary wastage of water due to overflow from overhead tanks so we have also
incorporated family water usage data in our product. This design substantially aims at optimizing the use of water. Since water wastage has been a major and universal issue hence water conservation has now become furthermore important. One of the common sources of wastage we encounter is the overflow of water. This design aims to help judge the water position inside the water tank and display it consequently on mobile screen in real time while also precluding any overflow of water which is achieved through the wireless microcontroller as well as user can also control the operations from remote position using their mobile. The switch can be controlled through mobile phone app facilitating the user to regulate the overflow anywhere outside the home also. We also propose to determine the pH of the water stored in the overhead tank enabling us to identify acidic content of the water supplied for daily use and suitably initiate necessary cleaning action which is notified by application .The ultrasonic detectors used helps determine the water position in tank which is also shoot to the microcontroller which displays the position on Android App. According to the position of water inside the tank, the microcontroller helps turn ON or OFF the submersible motor hence closing the source of water. With the help of this design we aim to save electricity as well as water along with camera view of OHT. When the water in tank is reaches at a particular position we don’t realize that the tank is overflowing unless water comes out of overflow stopcock. This leads to further water as well as energy consumption. People too get engaged in that and stop doing other work until the tank is full which can beget a lot of gratuitous time consumption. So to overcome this situation this design can smell and indicate the water position in the tank when it reaches at a particular position and also turns on/off pump which will save water and electricity. thus the water position word regulator design can prove veritably helpful in minimizing the use of man power.
