Sprite Animation Cutter allows you to test your sprite sheets, separate sprites from a sprite sheet, and create animated gifs from a sprite sheet or with separated sprites.
To test a sprite sheet, import the sprite sheet you want to test and specify the number of rows and columns the sprite sheet has, then press the play button.
If you want to exclude any sprite from the animation, you can split the animation and drag the sprite out of the frame. In the same way, you can also change the position of the sprites.
Also, you can export the sprites as separate images. Once you have opened the sprite sheet and specified the number of rows and columns, simply select the "Separate sprites" button to split them, and then press "Export sprites" to save them as individual files.
Sprite Animation Cutter has 6 playback modes:
MODE: Normal
MODE: Reversed
MODE: Loop
MODE: Loop Reversed
MODE: Loop Ping Pong
MODE: Loop Random
You can test the animation with the different playback modes. By default, the animation will play in MODE: Loop.
Recent changes:
1. Extract frames from a gif and export as png or create a modified gif.
2. Improved layout for better tablet compatibility.
3. Separate the sprites from a sprite sheet and export them as png.
4. Create animated GIFs from a sprite sheet or separate images.
