Our protagonist has done his best to try and gain the attention of the school’s most popular girl, but in the process, he’s broken the heart of a classmate that he deemed as 'boring.' However, when his mother remarries, he now has an incredibly cute stepsister who turns out to be that boring girl he wasn’t interested in! Why is she hiding her true identity?

■Characters■

Amane – The Literature-loving Girl
Amane is a literature-loving girl who has a friendly relationship with the protagonist and is his junior. She doesn't stand out in class, but becomes close to the protagonist, her senior, through an unexpected opportunity, and they bond over their shared interests. Although she has romantic feelings for the protagonist, he sees her strictly as a friend and even rejects her confession. However, her true identity is that of a former nationally famous child actress, and she hides this identity while living as just another teenager. In reality, her plain, literary-loving persona is closer to her true self. After her father's remarriage, she becomes the protagonist's stepsister, which leads to a unqiue relationship.

Megumi – An Energetic and Beautiful girl
Megumi's beauty is enough to make her popular nationwide, yet she usually spends her time at home when in this persona, bewildering the protagonist. She was originally an idol who started as a child actress, but decided to live a life out of the spotlight after graduating from middle school.

Yuki – The Popular Girl in Class
The protagonist's crush and classmate who already has a boyfriend. She has the looks of an idol, is known as the the most beautiful girl at school, and has a sunny personality that's given her a wide social circle. However, no one knows about her tumultuous family life. Her 'boyfriend' has a nasty personality, which has caused her more strife. Although it seems like she's leading the protagonist on, she is actually seeking help and true love.
