If your phone and its battery charger are not always the best of friends, then the Dingster is for you.
You know the routine: You think your battery is charging, but the charging cable has come loose and isn't making a good connection. (As our devices get older, this can happen often.) You could probably just jiggle the cable and make it work -- if you knew there was a problem.
The Dingster will continuously monitor your battery charge and let you know the status with an unobtrusive ding. There are different dings for "Charging", "Discharging", and "No Change". So even if you are not looking at your device, you'll know whether it's charging or not. If you like, I'll even read the Battery Percentage for you, so you'll know exactly how close your battery is to being fully charged.
Of course you don't need to have problems to use the Dingster. It's also great for just keeping track of how fast your battery is charging.
* Dings are adjustable from once a minute to every half hour.
* Immediate notification if your charger gets disconnected and when your battery becomes fully charged.
* Will ding in background mode so you can use your device normally while the Dingster monitors the battery. It will also continuously display the battery level so you can monitor the charging yourself.
* Optional spoken battery percentage.
* Can optionally go to "Dim Mode" after 2 minutes for faster battery charging.
* Works great on phones or tablets -- any portable Android device.
The Dingster comes without any ads or unnecessary notifications. Will work regardless of whether your phone has signal or not; it'll even work in Airplane Mode. It will make a handy addition to your Android device.
Recent changes:
* Updated to better looking pop-up notifications
* Changed default to a more reasonable value
* Improved the Help Screen text
* After a device is fully charged, the app will now stop dinging
* Changed both the App Icon and Splashscreen
