TMK Font Converter is developed to solve problems like not able to read Zawgyi-Tai fonts in phone using Unicode Standard fonts. Nowadays, we, Tai people, are also switching to use Unicode but sometimes, there is time you might want to read some texts that you had been written with Zawgyi-Tai in the past or some of your friends' Zawgyi-Tai texts, this application can help you. However, because Burma developers are including Auto Convert for Burma on Facebook, Zawgyi-Tai from Facebook, even if you used with sme Tai Font Converter, will not show you the desired results correctly. This issue has also been addressed and solved in this application.
How to use?
Firstly, if you want to convert Zawgyi-Tai to Unicode, you need to choose Zawgyi to Unicode, then you paste your Zawgyi-Tai tet in upper text box and clicking "CONVERT" button will give you Unicode texts in lower text box. Otherwise, if you want to use this app without worrying about the text being Zawgyi or Unicode, you can enable Single Page UI from Menu. There, you will see only one text box. If you put some Zawgyi texts into that text box and click "CONVERT", because we are using Detecting Engine, the text will be detected as Zawgyi and will then convert to Unicode.
In the Menu, you will also see Test Tai Wordbreak. Word break means it will split the whole text subjects into words. For example, if you choose "လိၵ်ႈတႆး" from Radio Button and put the words "မႂ်ႇသုင်ၶႃႈ" and clidk BREAK, the sentence will be broken into words like "မႂ်ႇ သုင် ၶႃႈ". Also if you choose "ᥘᥤᥐ ᥖᥭᥰ", put "ᥛᥬᥱᥔᥧᥒᥴᥑᥣᥲ" and click BREAK, it will show you "ᥛᥬᥱ ᥔᥧᥒᥴ ᥑᥣᥲ".
