A controller interface for XMMS2 music player service.
XMMS2 service is required to play music on the device itself but this application can also be used to remote control another XMMS2 instance elsewhere on the network. The remote XMMS2 instance must be compiled from latest development git tree, stable will not work until the next official release.
This application is my playground for the Java client library for XMMS2 which will be available to the public sometime soon.
It is still under heavy development and nothing you see in the application right now is set in stone.
Can be used on a tablet but doesn't really look like a tablet application yet.
INTERNET permission is used to talk with the remote XMMS2 instance(s) only. Currently there's no confirmation required to make the connections, it will come in the future, so if your data usage is limited, try to avoid using this feature without WiFi.
Recent changes:
Updated to be compatible with the latest development version of XMMS2. Note that you will also need to update your daemons.
