METAL DETECTOR: METAL FINDER is an amazing application that can detect easily the presence of any metal object nearby by measuring the Magnetic Field value. This useful app uses the built-in magnetic sensor of your smartphone and shows magnetic field level in μT (microtesla). We know that magnetic field level naturally (EMF) is about 59μT (micro tesla) or 590 mG (milli gauss) and 1μT = 10mG.
If app finds any metal nearby is value of magnetic field will be increased automatically.
This app is very simple to use just open it and move it around any metal. If the magnetic field values change or rise there is a possibility of metal in the area. Accuracy of the app entirely depends on the magnetic sensor of your device and is affected by electrical equipment such as TVs, PC due to electromagnetic waves.
HOW IT WORKS:
This app uses the built-in Magnetic FieldSensor of your smart phone. After running this app if your phone shows high reading then quickly move it away from everything to set it normal (0μT – 59μT). Normal Electromotive Force (EMF) field level is about 59μT (micro Tesla) or 590mG (milli gauss) 1μT = 10mG. When any metal object like steel or iron is near EMF reading will increase with a beef sound.
