Privacy policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
FreeAppy is a free games site with play money only. We collect as little as we can: enough to run the site and to see which games people enjoy. We don't sell data, and nobody needs an account.
Who runs FreeAppy
AppTornado GmbH, the company behind AppBrain. Questions about your data: [email protected].
What we collect
Server logs
Like every website, our server notes each request: the page, the time, your IP address, your browser (its user agent), the page you came from and your country (from your IP address). We use this to keep the site running and secure, and delete it after a limited time.
Page statistics
We count page views with our own installation of Plausible Analytics. It sets no cookies and doesn't recognize you from one day to the next.
Game statistics
To see which games work, we record what happens in them: a game loaded, a level started, won or lost, how long loading took. With each we note the page, your country and whether you're on a phone or a computer. We don't record your IP address with them.
To see whether players come back, we'd like to add a cookie with a random number, the date of your first visit and where it came from (for example a link from AppBrain). It doesn't say who you are. In the European Union, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we only set it if you agree; without it, your page views and games still count, but anonymously.
On your device only
Your coins, level, lucky wheel timer, sound setting and game progress are saved in your browser, not on our server. Clearing your browser's data for freeappy.com resets them.
Cookies
| Name | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|
fa_v | Counting return visits (a random number, first visit's date and source) | 400 days, renewed on each visit |
fa_consent | Remembering your choice about fa_v | 400 days |
Where you are, we set the fa_v cookie without asking. You can still turn it off.
Ads
FreeAppy shows no ads yet. If we add them, ad partners may use cookies of their own; we'll update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask you first.
Who else sees it
Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from attacks, so your requests pass through it. Our servers, logs and statistics are run by us.
Your rights
You can ask what we store about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here with a new date.
